AccelerateH2O is a Texas non-profit established to discover, invest in, and promote new and existing technologies that have potential to fill demands in Texas’ water technology market by addressing critical water issues, barriers and limitations. AccelerateH2O is a catalyst for Texas’ $9 billion water technology market by organizing assets, expertise, knowledge, and resources to more efficiently and effectively respond to our current crisis and position us as a competitive global water technology hub.
Texas’ Grand Challenges – in desalination, produce water from oil and gas, arsenic and radon in small systems, and a host of other unique issues – are addressed through AH2O’s WaterQuest Competitions to find the best ideas, technologies, practices, and solutions from around the world and in our own backyard. The WaterQuest Competitions are partnerships among mutual interests to expedite the time to market and assist citizens, consumers, industry, and public sector infrastructure.
AccelerateH2O hosts, collaborates, and supports a range of forums and showcases – in-person and online – to ensure investors, procurement officers, decision-makers are informed about the technology products, services, and offerings that will address their most critical problems, leverage opportunities, and increase market-value for commercialization.
Through the Accelerator’s InvestH2O, we will identify under-utilized, under-leveraged, and interdisciplinary intellectual property, patents, existing technologies for alignment with the Grand Challenge priorities, and then evaluate these opportunities for immediate or near-term commercialization.
