innovationCAFE San Antonio brings together leaders from the region’s strongest sectors Defense, Cybersecurity, and Biomedicine to tackle a major opportunity unifying these world-class assets into one connected innovation ecosystem. Although San Antonio has exceptional talent and technology, these sectors often operate independently. This workshop focuses on how policy, collaboration, and ecosystem design can bridge those gaps.
Led by Adam Rogers, with strategic insights from Cherie Jones and Damian Smyth, the session will explore how to use tax credits, grants, talent initiatives, and commercialisation strategies to build strong R&D clusters, grow a resilient talent pipeline, and attract major federal and private investment. Participants will help shape a policy playbook aimed at strengthening San Antonio’s long term innovation and economic future.
